Valdez Heli-Ski Guides

Valdez Heli-Ski Guides operates week-long Chugach memberships from two Thompson Pass bases: the historic Tsaina Lodge and the revived Alaska Rendezvous Lodge. Both have on-site helipads, meals and private or semi-private lodging, with current formats ranging from a four-group public helicopter to two-load semi-private and one-load private memberships.

Every 2027 trip runs Saturday to Saturday. Memberships include a stated helicopter-hour allocation, professional guides, lodging, meals and the operator's complete ski or snowboard and avalanche base kit. Alcohol and gratuity are excluded, and flight overage is USD 5,500 per hour or the applicable share.
