-No refunds, in full or in part, for unused days in the package due to late arrival, early departure, or "no show." If you come in early or don't ski, no refund is provided if the guaranteed vertical or flight time isn't met. -If the group doesn't achieve the guaranteed flight time due to weather, mechanical issues, or conditions, unused time is averaged over the group and refunded at €2,860 per hour. Alternatively, non-transferrable credits at €3,500 per hour (group average) are available for use within the next 2 seasons. -For guests on the Ultimate Private Package unable to fly for an entire day due to weather, mechanical issues, or conditions, the refund policy is €2,900/day divided amongst the group or a credit of €3,500/day divided amongst the group.

All ski packages have set start and end dates, offered as complete packages. Refunds are not available for: -Late arrival or early departure -Sickness or injury -Lack of skier ability or fitness Cancellations require email notification. If unable to attend, the package is transferable to another person. Bergmenn ehf. may defer payment to the next season if a replacement is found, subject to availability.

Arctic Heli Skiing is Iceland's original and sole heli-skiing company owned and operated by an Icelandic Internationally Certified Mountain Guide. It boasts the country's only six ski guides certified by recognized bodies, all working for Arctic Heli Skiing. The company adheres to the standards of HeliCat Canada, the leading heliskiing association worldwide. The team comprises professionally certified guides (IFMGA, ACMG, AMGA), ensuring unparalleled service. Despite lower avalanche risks due to the maritime snowpack, rigorous safety measures are in place and guests receive top-notch avalanche equipment, including Pieps airbags, probes, and transceivers. Arctic Heli Skiing's helicopters are equipped with advanced tracking, communication systems, and survival gear. With up to four helicopters daily, mechanical breakdowns are swiftly addressed. The ground team maintains constant contact, ensuring a rapid response in emergencies, with Akureyri Hospital just a 30-minute flight away. The company has a track record of successful rescue operations in collaboration with local teams and authorities.
