Cancellation terms
Should a reservation need cancellation, Tyax requires written confirmation. Guests are liable for the full payment without written cancellation. Tyax may cancel a package anytime, ensuring full refunds. Cancellations over 90 days before the start refund, minus the deposit. Within 90 days, no refund is granted. If resold, a $500 fee applies. Pre/post accommodation cancellation is non-refundable within 35 days, and additional services within 30 days. Tyax ensures clear cancellation policies for a seamless booking experience.
Refund policy
TYAX Lodge & Heliskiing aims for maximum skiing enjoyment within operational limits. For the Unlimited Package guests, refunds are offered based on a minimum vertical meters guarantee. If you fall short of the guarantee due to weather or mechanical issues, you're refunded at $135.00 (CAD) per 1,000 vertical meters. However, there's no refund for unused portions due to injury, illness, fitness, or early return. TYAX reserves the right to cancel a package, ensuring full refunds. For January-starting packages, 80% of the vertical guarantee is honored.
Safety
Safety and comfort are paramount at Tyax. Regardless of group size, Bell 212 helicopters are employed for their safety features and spacious cabins, ensuring guest well-being. Only four helicopters operate each week, minimizing encounters with other groups or aircraft, contributing to an undisturbed alpine experience.
