Our Guides

The guides make up a large part of your experience. You spend all day and probably part of the evening with them. Their field of work can be very dangerous and their primary responsibility is your safety. They know the mountains inside and out and usually give you free rein, but whenever they ask you to "buckle up" - they mean it. We make no exceptions - our guides are all IVBV (International Association of Mountain Guide Associations) and/or ACMG (Association of Canadian Mountain Guides) certified - we insist on that.

FAQ

Cancellation terms
Occasionally, circumstances may not cooperate. Should a cancellation become necessary for any reason, it must be communicated via email. The cancellation will be processed only after acknowledging receipt of the email. For regular reservations, if a cancellation occurs over 90 days prior to the package start, the deposit will be retained by Last Frontier Heliskiing. Cancellations made within 90 days of the arrival date will result in the retention of the total package payments.
Refund policy
In the event of cancellation due to uninsured reasons or a lack of insurance coverage, guests have the following options: Last Frontier Heliskiing can attempt to resell the guest's seat on their behalf. If successful, the company will credit the guest's account for the paid amount, with a $500 administration fee deducted. This credit can be used for a future trip within the next two seasons. Guests have the option to personally find a replacement and manage all associated financial aspects directly with the replacement, as long as there are no outstanding payments. It's important to note that Last Frontier Heliskiing reserves the right to cancel any heliski tour at any time. In such cases, guests will receive a full refund for the Last Frontier Heliskiing portion of the trip. However, any costs incurred outside of the heliski package, such as flights, hotels, meals, additional transportation, etc., are not the responsibility of Last Frontier Heliskiing.
Safety
In the realm of heli skiing safety, a significant focus is placed on the meticulous analysis of weather reports and snowpack assessments, which ultimately guides the selection of the safest terrain. Behind the scenes, this is an ongoing, full-time commitment. Last Frontier Heliskiing's dedicated team continuously collaborates, both internally and with neighboring ski operators, to ensure the highest safety standards while guests savor their skiing adventures.
