Reserve Northern Escape's Skeena Spey operation for a private party of up to five skiers or riders. The package combines a private Koala A119 KE or Bell 407 helicopter, two private guides, exclusive lodge use, a private culinary team and a dedicated snowcat backup. Each guest stays in a stand-alone king-bed cabin with an ensuite bathroom. Included are a private helicopter for up to five guests, two private guides, exclusive Skeena Spey lodge use, individual cabins, a private culinary team, gourmet meals, snacks and non-alcoholic drinks, 15-minute helicopter transfers from Terrace Airport, unlimited vertical, private snowcat backup, massage therapists, powder skis or snowboard and avalanche safety equipment. Each guide holds certification and recognition from esteemed organizations such as the Association of Canadian Mountain Guides (ACMG), the Canadian Ski Guides Association (CSGA), the International Mountain Guides Associations (UIAGM), and HeliCat Canada – the British Columbia Helicopter Skiing and Cat Skiing Operators Association, which sets the standard of care for heli-skiing safety in the industry.

Safety

The expert heliski guides at Northern Escape Heli Skiing are dedicated to crafting the ultimate helicopter skiing and boarding experience for guests. The primary goal is to ensure the safety and well-being of all participants throughout the trip. The guides skillfully balance individual preferences for challenging terrain with the overall safety and enjoyment of the entire group. The small-group helicopter skiing programs feature low Guest to Guide ratios, with a ratio of 6:1 in the Classic Heli Skiing Package, 5:1 in the Elite Heli Skiing Package, and 4 or 5:2 in the Private Heli Skiing Package.

Refund policy

All packages are sold in units beginning and ending on a specific date. No refund is given, in whole or in part, for un-used days due to late arrival or early departure. In addition, no refund is given for any unused portion of your package due to poor physical fitness, skiing/boarding ability, illness or injury. There is no refund if you choose not to participate in any activity or to return to the lodge early. Your vertical each day, whether by Heli or by Snowcat back-up, is cumulative and will be posted for you to keep track of.

Cancellation terms

In the event of a cancellation, please provide written notice via registered mail. All deposits for cancellations occurring more than 12 weeks before the package start date are non-refundable and will be retained by NEHS. For cancellations within 12 weeks of the package start date, the entire package price is due and non-refundable. A change of reservation fee of $250 will apply only if the canceled space can be re-sold to another guest who assumes the contractual obligations, and if the space is still available.
