FAQ

Refund policy
In the event that adverse weather conditions or mechanical issues impede the attainment of the guaranteed minimum cumulative elevation gain during a guest's experience, any remaining cumulative elevation gain will be credited to the guest. This credit will be valued at CAD 140.00 for every 1000 meters, and it can be utilized for a future booking. It's important to note that this personal credit will remain valid for a period of two years from the date of issuance and is non-transferable. However, it's crucial to understand that there will be no reimbursement in the following circumstances: Late arrival or early departure of guests. Situations where guests are unable, unwilling, or choose not to ski. Delayed arrival in Terrace, whether by plane or car, due to adverse weather conditions. The calculation of vertical meters is conducted based on the actual skiing or snowboarding achieved by each group per day, as guided. Even if a run is shortened to enhance skiing conditions, a minimum of 500 vertical meters is still considered, ensuring fairness in the calculation.
Safety
White Wilderness Heliskiing holds Full Membership in HeliCat Canada, an association dedicated to setting and upholding the industry's highest standards. Cancellation terms
To secure your booking, a 20% non-refundable deposit is required upon booking. The remaining balance must be settled 90 days before your first skiing day. Within 90 days of the first skiing day, full payment becomes non-refundable. White Wilderness Heliskiing takes pride in including medical, accident, and rescue insurance for guests upon landing in Terrace. However, they strongly recommend guests to consider additional insurance for unforeseen circumstances. Travel cancellation insurance covers trip cancellation before the first skiing day, while travel disruption insurance provides reimbursement for any interruptions due to illness or injury. Both insurance types are available through Lifestyle Financial Services.
