Ski the Tasman Glacier from Aoraki Mount Cook Village on a relaxed, guided alpine day. The 2026 season runs from 22 June through 4 October and the classic package costs NZD 1,595 per person. Guests check in at 09:00 at the Alpine Guides base and spend approximately five hours on the snow. Two descents cover New Zealand’s longest ski runs, typically 8–10 kilometres each, with three helicopter flights through the day. The glacier’s rolling green-to-blue terrain suits confident intermediate skiers; powder experience is not required. Groups of four to eight ski with a professional mountain or ski guide.
