About trip

Travel from Anchorage to Tordrillo Lodge for Arctic Elements' Alaska heli-ski program. The current published starting price is EUR 16,200 per person. Its itinerary spans nine calendar days, including the Anchorage hotel night, flights to and from the lodge and six stated heli-ski days. The semi-private format includes five helicopter hours per group of four and can rotate up to three groups per helicopter. Private lodge-and-helicopter packages are also available for parties of up to eleven and should be quoted separately.

The Tordrillo Mountains offer glaciated high-alpine faces, ridgelines and couloirs above treeline. Arctic Elements sells the package by flight time, not guaranteed vertical; it describes 7,000–8,000 vertical metres per day as an average for a strong skier or snowboarder in good conditions. Guests need prior off-piste or backcountry experience.

Cancellation terms
The traveler can cancel the travel arrangement without cancellation protection under the following conditions: -If the cancellation occurs more than 90 days before the start: full registration fee. -If the cancellation occurs within 90 days of the start: full package price. The traveler must promptly notify Arctic Elements AB of any impediment to the package, with or without cancellation insurance. Preferably during office hours, contact Arctic Elements AB at tel: 070341 50 35 or info@arcticelements.com. The traveler is responsible for ensuring that Arctic Elements AB acknowledges the cancellation before departure. Cancellations received after the package has commenced will not be accepted.
Refund policy
In the event that Arctic Elements AB cancels the package, the traveler who made the booking will receive notification no later than 14 days prior to the commencement of the travel arrangement, and a full refund of the package cost will be issued.
Safety
Leveraging IFMGA mountain guides ensures the inclusion of vital safety equipment, accompanied by a wealth of local knowledge and meticulous fieldwork, particularly in assessing avalanche risks. The team adheres to a standard Lead and Tail guide setup based on their extensive experience. Additionally, the operation is guided by comprehensive Operation Manuals, covering safety plans, communication plans, guide and pilot routines, and more. Collaborative efforts extend to cooperation with medical experts and the local ski patrol, enhancing the overall safety and effectiveness of the expedition.
