Heliski Greenland from Maniitsoq, a coastal base surrounded by glacial descents and three fjord systems just south of the Arctic Circle. Guests stay at Hotel Maniitsoq and travel through Copenhagen and Nuuk before the final short flight to Maniitsoq. The operator’s current published price is EUR 15,225 from Maniitsoq. The program uses three groups of four clients with one guide per group. Six helicopter hours are allocated to each flying group and shared pro rata; additional helicopter time is EUR 5,500 per hour. The terrain ranges from long, mellow glaciers to steep couloirs, and the team continues to make first descents. Fitness and backcountry experience in mixed snow are recommended, although suitable intermediate skiers have been introduced to powder on the wider glaciers. Hotel accommodation, three meals a day, local boats and specified ski and avalanche equipment are included; drinks are excluded.
