Air Greenland provides AeroSpatiale Squirrel (AS350 B3) helicopters tailored for Arctic conditions, featuring essential equipment such as HF radio, inflatable skids, and survival bags. These helicopters accommodate four guests in the rear seat, with the guide piloting from the single front seat. Pilots boast expertise in both heliskiing and Arctic flying, while each helicopter is equipped with a sat phone and GPS for safety. Flight monitoring is conducted via VHF radio to designated control centers, with additional emergency support available nearby if needed.
