Take a one-day heli-ski trip from Almaty into the Northern Tien Shan. The current starting price is EUR 1,100 per person and the published program duration is six hours. Winter operations use forest terrain in the Turgen Valley and the Kimasar and Butakovskoe gorges; late-spring and summer days move higher onto the Bogdanovich, Tuyuk-su and Dmitriev glaciers.
